Firstly, happy Valentine's day, whatever your situation this is a gentle reminder to always take the time to love yourself.
We don't always find it easy to prioritise ourselves and our needs. Right now it is more necessary than ever before. This pandemic continues to bring stress and challenges to our everyday lives as we strive to adapt constantly, doing the best we can.
Taking time for yourself should be enjoyed, guilt free. Falling in love with moving your body has amazing positive effects on your mental health and energy levels!

Establishing a loving relationship between yourself and your yoga practice will nurture your mental strength, which will motivate you to show up to your mat and move your body regularly with care and kindness.
Self love = Consistency and consistency outranks quantity!
A consistent yoga practice doesn't mean putting pressure on yourself. It literally means gifting yourself planned time for your mind, body and soul, and sticking to it.
A regular practice for me when I started meant moving my body 3 times a week.
20 minutes, morning, night, or whenever it fits in to your life. It's doable! It will have such a positive impact on your mind and body.
That's it. There's no secret formula or magic tricks. Just you giving yourself regular planned times to move.
When you gift yourself the time to do something that makes you feel great, you'll start to love it, and it will love you back. The great thing is you'll want to do it more and more!
Invest in your body and mind, you'll feel less stress, stronger, more content with an increased flexibility in your body and an increased ability to approach challenges that life throws at you in a more balanced way.
Know Thy Self
Yoga teaches you to love yourself, to accept yourself for who you are, and where you are right now. It nurtures you and nourishes you, inside and out.
All that patience, acceptance, strength, fire and calm is already inside you.
We don't always take the time to appreciate it.
Fall in love with taking care of yourself.
Be kind and go with the flow.
